This policy explains what information the Call Boy Friend Android app (package talking.toy.funny.callboy) and the websitecallboyfriend.ai process, why, and what choices you have. The app and website are provided by Wen Yue ("we", "us"). Questions: chaney56231@gmail.com.
The short version
- There is no account and no sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number.
- Your chat history is stored on your phone.
- What you type, say or upload is sent to our servers only to create your boyfriend's reply, voice or picture, and is not sold or used for ads.
- We use anonymous analytics and Google Play for payments.
- All characters are AI. No human reads your chats to reply to you.
1. Information we process
Content you send
When you chat, call or use a feature, the app sends the needed content to our API at callboyfriend.ai: your messages and recent conversation context, voice recordings (for calls and voice messages), photos or files you choose to share (for photo reactions, reading text in a photo or summarising a document), and the choices you make when creating a custom boyfriend. The website demo ("Talk free") sends the messages you type.
Device and usage data
We receive technical data that every internet request contains, such as IP address, approximate country, device model, app version and request times. The app uses GameAnalytics to measure anonymous usage (for example sessions, screens and crashes), which uses a device or advertising identifier.
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Google Play. We receive a confirmation of your subscription status, never your card or payment details.
Permissions
The microphone is used only while you record or are on a call. Camera, photo gallery and file access are used only when you pick a photo or file to share or to set an avatar.
2. How we use it
- To generate your boyfriend's text replies, voice audio and AI portraits.
- To transcribe your voice and to describe or read photos and documents you share.
- To keep the service secure and working: rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging and capacity planning.
- To understand which features people use, in aggregate, so we can improve the app.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your conversations for advertising.
3. Service providers
To create replies we use carefully selected processors that act on our behalf:
- Cloudflare hosts our website and API.
- OpenRouter routes AI requests to model providers (for example DeepSeek for chat, OpenAI Whisper for speech recognition, ElevenLabs for voices and Google Gemini for images and documents). We request providers that do not keep or train on the data.
- GameAnalytics for anonymous app analytics.
- Google Play for downloads and payments.
4. Storage and retention
Chat history and your custom characters are stored locally on your device. Our API does not store the content of your messages, recordings, photos or documents after the reply has been created. Technical request logs (without message content) are kept for a short period, normally up to 30 days, for security and troubleshooting. AI providers process content to generate the response and, under our settings, do not retain it for training.
5. Your choices and rights
- Delete chats inside the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything stored on your phone.
- Cancel your subscription any time in Google Play.
- Ask us for access, correction or deletion of any data we hold by emailing chaney56231@gmail.com; see Delete account & data.
- You can reset your advertising ID in Android settings.
Depending on where you live (for example India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the EU/UK GDPR or US state laws) you may have additional rights. We will respond to requests within 30 days.
6. Age
Call Boy Friend is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly process data of children. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will delete related data.
7. AI characters
Every boyfriend is a fictional AI character. The app is not a dating, escort or real-person service. AI replies can be inaccurate; do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.
8. Security and international transfers
All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, with appropriate safeguards.
9. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and adjust the date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app.
